Welcome to the website of the Psychophysiology Lab at Brooklyn College!
Our research focuses on the neurobiological bases of antisocial behavior, psychopathic, and autistic traits in children, adolescents, and adults. The psychophysiological methods we use include electrodermal activity (EDA), cardiovascular activity such as heart rate (HR), respiratory sinus arrhythmia (RSA), pre-ejection period (PEP), EEG and ERP, and structural and functional brain imaging (sMRI and fMRI).
Current projects include:
1. Psychophysiological and behavioral reactivities to social interaction (the Social Interaction Study)
2. Emotion learning impairments, neural circuits deficits, conduct problems and callous-unemotional traits in children (the Healthy Childhood Study)
